The Power of Counselling: A Path to Self-Discovery and Healing

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Whether it’s balancing work, relationships, or personal struggles, life can feel like a never-ending to-do list. Many people face challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, or depression but hesitate to reach out for help, believing they can "work it out on their own." As someone who has personally experienced these challenges, I understand how hard it can be to take the first step towards seeking support. However, I can confidently say that this first step can lead to a transformational journey.

Why Counselling?

Counselling provides a safe, non-judgemental space where you can reflect on your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. It’s more than just talking—it's about exploring what lies beneath the surface and understanding what drives your emotions and behaviors. My approach as a person-centred counsellor focuses on working collaboratively with you, helping you gain clarity and insight into your struggles, and ultimately guiding you towards self-healing.

Benefits of Counselling

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck, anxious, or weighed down by their problems. Through regular sessions, they often find that counselling helps them:

  • Improve self-esteem and self-worth
  • Reduce anxiety and stress
  • Gain clarity on their feelings and experiences
  • Build better relationships with themselves and others

Whether you're dealing with issues like depression, stress, or self-image, having a dedicated time and space to focus on yourself can lead to lasting positive changes in your life.

Working Together

As a qualified counsellor, my work spans a variety of challenges that both young people and adults face. This includes anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I also have a particular interest in working with individuals affected by Borderline Personality Disorder (EUPD).

Counselling isn't just about fixing what's broken—it's about growth and self-awareness. Together, we will work to uncover the barriers that prevent you from living your best life and find ways to overcome them.

Counselling and Supervision Options

I offer both in-person and online counselling for those who prefer the flexibility of meeting virtually. In addition to counselling, I provide clinical supervision for trainee and qualified counsellors, helping them navigate their own professional journeys with care, ethics, and confidence.

Free Initial Consultation

I understand that choosing the right counsellor is an important decision, which is why I offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation. This is a chance for you to ask any questions, share your concerns, and see if we are a good fit for working together.
